“October 2026; The stand-alone dehumidifier in my crawlspace had shut down. I wanted to have it looked at to see if it could be repaired rather than replaced. Calls to various local HVAC's gave me assurances that at 10 years old it would need to be replaced, and nobody serviced my brand anyway. The HVAC Doc, Ammar, came to my house 2 hours after my call to see if my unit could indeed be repaired. After 5 minutes in my crawlspace he had my dehumidifier humming like a kitten. At some point the unit's power cord had been pulled loose just enough to cut contact. All that was needed was to reestablish contact. They didn't make much money off me, but they also didn't invent anything wrong with my dehumidifier in order to do so. HVAC Doctor H&A are honest people that do honest work. They're in my book now, and will always be my first call.”
