Reversing Valve Failure
The reversing valve switches the system between heating and cooling mode. A stuck or failed valve is a heat-pump-specific issue — it means the system is locked in one mode.
Defrost Control Problems
A faulty defrost board or sensor causes the system to either never defrost (coil freezes solid) or constantly defrost (losing heating efficiency). We test and replace the defrost components.
Low Refrigerant / Leak
